walk through the Weber I found a new musical contraption called Hang (hand, in the Bernese dialect) that seems to come from the vicinity of Roswell. At first glance looks like a flying saucer, but in reality it is a musical instrument. What is special about this instrument? It is basically a steel cylinder with two hemispheres (Ding and Gu) soldiers at their edges. Ding On the side there are 8 pocitos representing eight different musical notes and a central bulge has a sound much like a Gong. On the other hand, the Gu side has a hole that allows the resonance of sound generated inside. But not only is a rare instrument, but the way of playing makes it even more rare. The Hang can play in many different ways: with the tip of the fingers, thumbs or palms, or mixing the three ways at once.
In general, the Hang is located in the legs of the musician, but can also be supported to play on any surface. This, it seems that this new gadget could serve only to make cacerolazos, but it is not. Their sound is much more than that because we are transported to other worlds, because it touches a chord in our hearts. . . because today gave me the peace I needed. For that alone, the Hang deserved this post.
